Hurricane Ida has proven to be one of, if not the, greatest disaster ever faced by St. John Parish residents, to date. Residents have been faced with having to rebuild not only their homes, but their lives yet again. We are committed to “Renewing Lives, Restoring Families and Rebuilding our Communities”. We realize the road to recovery can be a long and tedious path, so our Long-Term Recovery Group, with the help of our community business partners, work tirelessly to ensure the residents of St. John Parish have the resources needed to rebuild better and stronger. Whether it’s distributing disaster relief supplies, non-perishable food items, hot meals, dispatching Serve Teams to tarp, gut or remove trees and debris from homes, we are here…to serve the community that we are privileged to be a part of.  Proverbs 11:25 tells us, “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. Refresh us, oh Lord, as we work to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
